From eclectic perspectives of partners Kylie Hazzard and Cameron Black, Sand Box explore the absurdities of modern life through timeless music made with love.
We're committed to feeding the soul and scratching
not-yet-reached parts of your brain.
Based in Los Angeles, Hazzard and Black are established creative professionals in the music and film industries, who quickly began various collaborations after meeting in 2019, such as film composing and session work. Their various talents are now joined into Sand Box.
The songs are born on Kylie's acoustic guitar and she expands them in her carefully crafted home studio. She writes, plays, and produces everything, calling in Cam to eloquently shred the sax or synth when it's time.
